2024 Haidong Gumdo Australia National Championships and Mulimpia

Dear competitors, coaches and families,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the 2024 Haidong Gumdo Australia National Championships & Mulimpia. I would like to extend our warmest greetings to the entire martial art community and special welcome to our first-time participants.
We want to encourage and motivate sportsmanship and the spirit of martial arts in our competitors, and we will be awarded medals for achieving 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th placings. I hope that all athletes will learn from this experience, and with continued practice, learn the true meaning of the martial arts spirit.
We will offer the following events:
HAIDONG GUMDO:
Gumbup, Paper Cutting, Bamboo Cutting, Sword Dance, Sparring, Sparring Choreography
TEUKGONG MOOSOOL:
Patterns, Self-defense, Weapons
TAEKWONDO:
Poomsae, Sparring, Flying Sidekick, Jump High Kick, Speed Kick, Power Break, and Technical Breaking.
KARATE:
Kata and sparring.
The goal of this competition is to provide a positive, safe environment that promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, fairness and respect, allowing competitors
to dig deep and demonstrate their skills whilst enjoying a friendly competition.
