1st Australian & Oceania Taekwondo ‘Gajok’ Games POSTPONED

Dear Registrants & Officials,
Recent border closures in certain states and the continued uncertainty about interstate travel following additional outbreaks of the covid 19, leaves us with no alternative but to postpone the Gajok Games until further notice.
The partnership between Oceania Taekwondo and Australian Taekwondo is to work in partnership to deliver a competition to members which was enjoyable and above all safe. On advice from QLD health, we took all steps possible to ensure we conduct the event using all protocols and covid safe measures to protect athletes, coaches, officials and other participants.
Despite this, we acknowledge the concern of clubs, athletes and parents about their ability to travel interstate and the possibility of sudden border closures from time to time. For this reason, and light of current border closures, we have decided to postpone the event until further notice. The safety and interests of our participants and all concerned with the event is paramount.
We are confident of announcing new dates for the event in the near future and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon.
In the meantime, we extend to everyone our best wishes and trust that you all stay safe.
