2023 ATQ State Selections

Dear Taekwondo competitors, coaches, and families,
With great pleasure we would like to invite you to participate in the 2023 ATQ State Selections.
This is a tournament where families and children can perform Taekwondo as a Martial Art at their personal best together. At this year’s event we will be offering the following events in line with events contested at the Australian Taekwondo National Championships:
Kyorugi Sparring,
Poomsae (individual, pairs, teams, families, freestyle, and WT divisions, para) and power breaking.
This will be an opportunity for children and families to expand their Taekwondo skills and practice the 5 Tenets of Taekwondo: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self- control, indomitable spirit.
We welcome all Queensland athletes, coaches and officials who are Australian Taekwondo members, and spectators from all clubs to watch and support their club members compete at this event.
Our aim is to provide an environment that promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, fairness, and respect, allowing competitors to dig deep and demonstrate their skills whilst enjoying a friendly competition.
