2025 Haidong Gumdo Nationals

Dear competitors, coaches and families,
I would like to welcome all participants to the 2025 Haidong Gumdo Australia Nationals. This tournament will be held on 27 September 2025, in Springfield Central, QLD, Australia.
I am sure that this event will be a successful and memorable experience for both the competitors and family members. I would like to thank our Events Committee, Masters, Instructors, students and regular volunteers, family members and other supporters without whom none of this would be possible and especially Haidong Gumdo Queensland.
We will offer the following events:
HAIDONG GUMDO:
Gumbup (sword patterns), Paper Cutting, Bamboo Cutting, Sword Dance,
Sword Sparring, Masters Event, and for the first time 3 novelty events (Speed Cutting, Speed Paper Cutting and Ping Pong Ball Cutting)
The goal of this competition is to provide a positive, safe environment that promotes the spirit of sportsmanship, fairness and respect, allowing competitors
to dig deep and demonstrate their skills whilst enjoying a friendly competition.
