Dear All,
It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 6th Annual Sunshine Coast Open.
The Sunshine Coast Open is regarded not only as a competition for developing players, but as a family orientated competition where young and old compete in a relaxed atmosphere. The Sunshine Coast Open is open to every athlete, official and club representative, regardless of affiliation and or style.
We have the usual events, sparring (from ages 5 years and up), Individual Poomsae & Pairs Poomsae and Family Poomsae (mixed or same sex).
To ensure this event runs on schedule coaches please note; Where a match is called to begin and there is no coach available the match WILL begin regardless, without any penalty to the player.
However, should the coach take their place during the contest they will forfeit any protest for that match.
The use of the KPNP scoring system will be used for all divisions and KPNP electronic head guards will be used for all red belt cadets and upwards. All athletes are required to supply their own KPNP foot protectors.
