With the introduction of the electronic scoring systems and the recent changes of competition rules and
interpretations, there is now a far greater need for both coaches and referees to have a deeper understanding of the
rules, regulations, how they are applied, and the technologies being used in competition. As such, the OTU Referee
Committee has developed a workshop that is specifically designed and focused for both coaches and referees –
together!!
Who should attend this Course?
Any person who wishes to have a complete understanding of how the current WT competition rules are interpreted
and applied i.e. coaches, referees, competition managers … anyone involved with the sport and athletes!!
Coaches – At every competition there have been players who have lost matches that they should have won due to
their coach not knowing the rules or the video replay system … do you want to be one of those coaches?
Referees – Are you sure you are across the current interpretations – especially with all the different technologies
being used?
