18th KTAA Tournament Invitational

Your Invitation to Join Us,
Dear Taekwondo Instructors, athletes and families,
We would like to invite you to partake in the 18TH KTA AUSTRALIA TOURNAMENT on Sunday, 5th of March 2023 at Hurstville Aquatic Centre.
Our goal is to motivate and inspire all members within the Taekwondo and local community to spread the art of Martial Arts as well as to make stronger connections with the art. This will be the perfect opportunity to allow fellow Taekwondo athletes and teams to further develop good sportsmanship, respect and fairness, together with demonstrating
their skills and abilities through this tournament.
This event will present competitors of all levels from across Australia, ranging from beginners to advanced participants in a variety of Taekwondo events.
Catering to every level and experience, we will put forward a total of 26 events, including but not limited to, Sparring, Poomsae, Creative Poomsae, Team Pattern, and Self Defence Techniques.
This is a friendly competition, where we aim to deliver a safe and encouraging environment for all our athletes and teams. We hope everyone achieves a large degree of beneficial experience, gain confidence while also creating new lifelong relationships with fellow peers and sportspersons. Moreover, we hope all individuals enjoy this tournament and will learn from this experience to a greater extent by gaining inspiration and motivation to further their studies, skills and talents with the art of Taekwondo and Martial Arts.
Alongside, the KTA Australia Tournament will be working with the World Composite Martial Arts Federation from South Korea to introduce the “Cheon Gong Cup” for the first time in Australia. The Cheon Gong Cup will be a separate event from the KTAA Tournament to showcase incredible Team Poomsae & Freestyle Demonstrations. We are also very privileged to have special VIP’s and guests from South Korea to come join us to observe and appreciate the teams for this event.
